The Global Environmental Institute (GEI), established in Beijing, China in 2004, is a Chinese non-profit, non-governmental organization. It’s mission is to design and implement market-based models for solving environmental problems in China in order to achieve development that is economically, ecologically, and socially sustainable. Its central office is in Beijing, and now has three regional offices in Sichuan, Tibet, and Sri Lanka. |
