All of the images in The Common Ground Collection are original works of Digital Art, selected from the submissions we received from over 1,000 artist in over 40 countries.
Our curators and our jury have chosen pieces for the 2008 Common Ground Collection that fall into one of these 4 categories:

One renowned artist has been selected to represent their country in the Celebrated Artist portion of the Common Ground Collection.
Because China is the ‘Host City” for our inaugural exhibit, we have selected 2 Celebrated Artists to represent China. |
| The International Touring Collection |

These images have been selected from artists around the world through a 'Call For Entry' Online Submission process and selected by our panel of Curators and Jurors. |
| The Chinese Artist Series |

Emerging Digital Artists have been selected specifically from China to be represented in this Host-City’ Common Ground Collection. |
| The Gifted Artist Series |
| |
Also selected from the same Online Submission process, but these images will be displayed in our Common Ground Gallery online and in some cases within the pages of our Commemorative Book, but will not be displayed in the touring collection. |
